At Las Torres Patagonia, we believe Christmas and New Year’s dinners should be memorable. Our chef, Joaquín Pitta, has prepared a special holiday menu.
For Christmas, the Coirón Restaurant offers guests four options. The first transports us to the sea with spider crab and egg yolk sorrentinos in a lemon-sage butter sauce. Our vegetarian dish is creamy hazelnut rice with portobello, Jerusalem artichoke and truffle shavings. As for gluten-free options, we are featuring a hake-salmon duo with creamy corn puree and scallop sauce or lamb terrine with potato mille-feuille, red wine sauce and a Chilean-style fresh tomato salsa.
Our chef will be preparing a new selection of dishes for New Year’s Eve. Our selection of meats cooked on an open fire includes lamb on a spit, steak and beef tenderloin. Other entrée options are stuffed chicken breast, Chilean king crab and Chilean cusk eel fillet in tomato sauce. The vegetarian options are a wild mushroom and bean burger, a breaded seitan cutlet and marinated grilled eggplant. As for salads and other starters, our salad of fresh greens from the garden will delight your palate. You may also prefer a tomato salad marinated with olive oil and basil or a salmon-scallop ceviche.
The dinner’s flavors and aromas will match the tone of the celebration, enriching every moment of this special occasion.
Special Christmas and New Year’s Activities
We cannot say too much because we have some Christmas surprises in store. Like climbing to the Base Torres Viewpoint, you can only truly appreciate the Las Torres Patagonia holiday experience firsthand.
However, we can tell you about the hotel’s highly anticipated New Year’s Eve party. You can ring in 2025 in our auditorium to the rhythm of the special songs we have selected for you, your family or your friends.
If you prefer a quieter evening, you can also gaze at the Patagonian stars. Just remember not to stray farther than five meters from the hotel, and always be aware of any movement. Our property is on a nature reserve, and the animals tend to roam at night.

The guests visiting these accommodations during the holiday season are usually passing through on one of the hiking circuits, either the W or the O. Most of them stay up until midnight, then quickly retire to their rooms, tents or cabins to rest and gather strength to continue their route on Christmas morning or New Year’s Day.
Each type of accommodation offers a different dinner format. Some offer a buffet, while others prepare a special menu. Regardless, spending Christmas or New Year’s Eve in the best Patagonian style will undoubtedly be a unique night.
