A favorite among Las Torres Patagonia visitors, the W Circuit takes you through some of Torres del Paine National Park’s most impressive landscapes, offering views only found here. The W Express + program allows you to do the iconic hike in fewer days with an incredible finale: a celebration and rest at Hotel Las Torres on the last night. This post contains all the details of the adventure and what to expect each day.

The program includes:

  • A five-day, four-night experience
  • Standard roundtrip transportation between Puerto Natales and Torres del Paine National Park
  • Full board
  • The Torres del Paine National Park entrance fee
  • A welcome kit
  • A ticket for the catamaran from Paine Grande

Now, let’s look at the itinerary for your W Express + adventure.

Day 1: Conquer Las Base Torres Lookout

Your journey begins with a very early morning transfer from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine National Park. Without wasting a second, you will embark on the trail to Las Base Torres Lookout. What better way to kick off the experience than seeing the imposing granite towers for which the park is named on your first day? These majestic stone giants, sculpted by millennial glaciers, tower 2,850 meters above sea level, offering a view that will take your breath away. That is not a bad way to start the five-day adventure!

Day 2: Hike in the shadow of Los Cuernos

After a good night’s rest, the second day will take you along the trail that hugs the shores of Nordenskjöld Lake. On your left will be this impressive body of water that vanishes into the horizon. The Paine Massif peaks, Mount Almirante Nieto and Los Cuernos, will be on your right.

You will reach the Cuernos sector, where colossal mountains resemble the antlers of a mighty animal peeking out of the earth. A mixture of different rock types gives the 2,600-meter peaks a fascinating contrast of colors, creating a visual spectacle that is unique in the region.

Day 3: The charms of the Francés Valley

After resting in the Cuernos sector, get ready to discover the Francés Valley, which many consider the heart of the W Circuit, with its lush Nothofagus forests and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

You will take in panoramic views of mountains like Mount Paine Grande and the Francés Glacier. The mixture of forests and geological formations will make you feel like you have indeed found paradise on Earth.

Day 4: Visit the realm of the ice fields

On the penultimate day of your adventure, the trail will take us to the imposing Grey Glacier, a natural marvel you will remember for a lifetime. Part of the Southern Ice Field, it spans over 270 km², offering an impressive spectacle. Its blue tones and resemblance to a large frozen sheet resting between the mountains will leave you in awe.

Depending on the weather and availability, you may have the option of sailing close to the glacier to see its impressive ice walls.

The day concludes with a standard bus ride to Hotel Las Torres, where you will be able to rest, dine at the Coirón Restaurant, share anecdotes from the trip and sleep in one of our recently remodeled rooms.

Day 5: A Patagonian farewell

After nearly a week in Torres del Paine National Park and spending your last night at Hotel Las Torres, it’s time to say goodbye to Patagonia.

The morning offers a trip highlight when our baqueanos bring in the herd that spent the night grazing near the hotel. You definitely will not want to miss the unique spectacle as a group of 180 horses advance toward the stables.

After a delicious breakfast at the Coirón Restaurant, it will be time to say goodbye to the park and begin your trip home.

Do not miss this unique experience that combines adventure, nature and comfort in one of the world’s most impressive destinations. The W Circuit Express + is waiting to make your Patagonian exploration dreams come true!
