What is the most famous trail in Patagonia?

Central is located at the head of one of Torres del Paine National Park’s most famous trails, leading to Las Torres Base Lookout, the landmark for which the national park where colossal granite columns stand tall in Patagonia is named.

Each year, the trail to Las Torres Base attracts hundreds of visitors seeking to reach the viewpoint at the top of the moraine. If you want to make the whole journey from the best location so you can get started when you want, you can stay at our mountain hostel, campsites or Hotel Las Torres.

What makes Patagonia so special?

The Central Sector offers a privileged view of everything that makes Patagonia unique. You can watch horses grazing in different parts of the landscape, marvel at the sunsets that color the imposing mountains surrounding the iconic granite towers and discover diverse fauna scattered in every corner. If you pay attention, it is possible to spot guanacos roaming the steppe, foxes moving stealthily through the vegetation, condors soaring majestically overhead, and, with any luck, the region’s top predator, the elusive puma.
